Students come\n        to us for help with math, reading and writing, schoolwork,\n        and preparation for important academic and standardized\n        tests.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Our test-preparation programs include SAT, ACT, PSAT and\n        preparation for selective academic program entrance tests.\n        As students&#8217; needs have changed over the years, Wiz Tutoring\n        has continued to expand the ways in which students can\n        receive academic support.\n    <\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<!-- WHY WIZ WAS CREATED -->\n\n<section class=\"story-section\">\n\n    <h2>\n        Why Wiz Tutoring Was Created\n    <\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        Wiz Tutoring was established with the idea of making\n        quality tutoring more affordable for students and families.\n        From the beginning, affordability has been an important\n        part of our philosophy.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        We believe students should have access to meaningful\n        academic support without tutoring becoming an unreasonable\n        financial burden on their families.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <div class=\"story-mission\">\n\n        <h3>Our Mission<\/h3>\n\n        <p>\n            To provide accessible, affordable and effective\n            academic support while helping students strengthen\n            their skills, close learning gaps and build the\n            confidence to become more independent learners.\n        <\/p>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<!-- LEARNING ENVIRONMENT -->\n\n<section class=\"story-section\">\n\n    <h2>\n        A Learning Environment Built for Students\n    <\/h2>\n\n    <p>\n        We want students to feel that tutoring is a place where\n        they can ask questions, make mistakes, practice difficult\n        skills and gradually improve.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Our tutoring environment combines digital learning tools\n        with traditional paper-based materials. This allows tutors\n        to choose different resources depending on what a student\n        is learning and how that student learns best.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Student participation is also an important part of our\n        approach. But solving today&#8217;s homework problem is only part\n        of what tutoring can accomplish.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        A student may be struggling because an earlier skill was\n        never completely understood. A graduate of\n        Wayne State University, he has spent many years tutoring\n        school and college students in Warren and surrounding\n        communities.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        His experience working directly with students helped shape\n        the philosophy behind Wiz Tutoring: students need patient\n        explanations, opportunities to practice, encouragement,\n        and academic support that recognizes their individual\n        needs.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <p>\n        Supporting students who are struggling academically has\n        remained an important part of that philosophy.
